Dog Acl Surgery What Is The Best Way To Keep A Dog Quiet After ACL Surgery?

What is the best way to keep a dog quiet after ACL Surgery? - dog acl surgery

I've come a lab 3 years / Springer mix home today from ACL surgery. Suggestions to keep his silence would be greatly appreciated. It is generally an idea in my head - "Where's my ball and go shoot it. Even if the wound in his leg, which would still play all the time.
Thank you for your suggestions!

  1. Remove all toys, bones, etc. removed. Choose a room that is comfortable, as a study or living room, and put a baby carrier, she can not move. Put lots of blankets and pillows on the floor and food and water bowls, and sit on the floor, read or watch television. If nobody moves and no soft bedding available, will probably be more than happy to cuddle with you.

Strict rest cash. Hard on the dog, difficult for you, but necessary.

  4. My lab is 13 and has its own .... The first he did was at the age of 10 years and it was still very active .... I had the money to leave the house or at night to avoid climbing stairs to jump on sofas, etc. .... The lifting of the back in the dog avoids stairs, if you ..... If you're afraid to remain calm day, and perhaps some of his toys and balls, on the activities require time and chew toys or bite to give the bones can help to limit your activities .... . I have also invested in one or two doors, was to limit the space of your child at the time, keep your eyes on them (most) .... .... Talk to your veterinarian or the specialist who performed the surgery can be helpful for other ideas, I hope this helps .......
